Heart Harmony

Accessing the Power of your Heart

A close connection to our heart helps to reduce anxiety and stress while boosting our immune system, happiness and resilience.

In each of these Heart Sessions, you will receive simple techniques using writing, breathwork and meditation to access the power of our heart.

Facilitator: Hattie Edmonds

Hattie was the first in-house writer for Comic Relief and has since published two novels. She is currently finishing a book about the heart, in which she interviews doctors, cardiologists, scientists and mindfulness/meditation teachers on the best ways to keep our hearts healthy, physically, mentally and emotionally. She has run Writing for Wellbeing sessions in schools, colleges, mental health inpatient units and for the homeless charity Refettorio Felix as well as for Meanwhile Gardens. For 7 years she volunteered weekly at the Pembridge Palliative Care unit of St Charles’s hospital, sharing relaxation practices.
